Please complete the liability waiver before attending: Link
Parking
There is ample FREE parking available at the fairgrounds.
Please follow the directions of our volunteers and park only in designated parking areas. For the safety of all attendees and to ensure smooth traffic flow throughout the day, do not park along roadways, entrances, exits, or in restricted areas. Our parking volunteers are there to help, so please follow their instructions and be patient during arrival and departure times.
Getting Around The Fairgrounds
Golf carts will be available throughout the day to assist seniors, individuals with disabilities, and young children. We kindly ask everyone to be patient and give priority to those who need transportation assistance the most.
Check-In Process
1. We will begin the day with Flag Hoisting at 11:00 AM to commemorate the 250th Anniversary of American Independence and the 20th Anniversary of Friends of India Society.
2. Please have your registration email ready. Each ticket includes a unique barcode that our volunteers will scan for check-in.
3. If you purchased paper tickets, please hand them to the volunteer or staff member at the gate.
4. Every attendee will receive a wristband at check-in. Wristbands must be worn before entering the fairgrounds. No Exceptions.
5. During check-in, each ticket holder will receive:
• Kites
• Kite Thread
• Event T-Shirt
Please follow volunteer instructions to help keep the lines moving smoothly. T-shirt sizes are distributed randomly, so please be flexible—we promise the fun matters more than the fit! 😊
What to Bring
Pets
For the safety and comfort of all attendees, please do not bring pets to the festival.
With thousands of participants, flying kites, kite strings, colors, water play, music, and large crowds, the environment can be stressful and potentially unsafe for animals. We appreciate your cooperation in helping us keep the event safe and enjoyable for everyone.
Food & Refreshments
• Lunch and Light Dinner will be served in the Red Barn.
• Complimentary bottled drinking water will be available throughout the event.
Please use bottled water responsibly and for drinking purposes only. Hand-washing stations and water taps are available throughout the grounds. The free water program is made possible through the generosity of our sponsors, and we appreciate your help in preventing waste.
Restrooms & Porta Potties
Permanent restrooms are on the right side of the fairgrounds and portable restrooms (Porta Potties) are available throughout the fairgrounds for your convenience.
If you change into dry clothes after Color Play, please place all wet clothes and other disposable items in the dumpsters located outside the restroom areas. This helps us keep the facilities clean and comfortable for everyone.
This event is possible because of hundreds of volunteer hours, and we would greatly appreciate your help.
• Each group will be provided with a trash bag. Please use it to collect trash from your area throughout the day.
• Dispose of all garbage in the designated dumpsters before leaving.
• Please pick up your used kite string, broken kite pieces, and any other debris around your area.
• Keeping the grounds free of kite thread is especially important for the safety of children, participants, volunteers, and wildlife.
Many hands make light work, and together we can leave the fairgrounds cleaner than we found them.
Event Guidelines
Please follow the event schedule and listen to volunteers throughout the day.
When volunteers ask participants to stop flying kites or pause water activities, it is necessary to allow cleanup crews to remove kite strings and debris before Color Play begins. These procedures help ensure everyone’s safety and enjoyment.
Water Play Update
Unfortunately, water blasters will not be available this year. However, our popular water sprinklers will be running during Color Play, so be prepared for a colorful and refreshing experience!
